What is Suwon Hwaseong?
Hwaseong Fortress is in Suwon, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. UNESCO describes it as a late-18th-century fortified city associated with King Jeongjo of the Joseon dynasty. The site was inscribed on the World Heritage List in 1997.
The fortress has four principal gates. Janganmun is the northern gate—the one identified in the video description. A quick clip is an introduction to one location, rather than a complete walking route around the fortress.
